Carla Abellana celebrates a decade of being a Kapuso

Highly-talented actress Carla Abellana is looking forward to start a new journey as a Kapuso as she renewed her exclusive contract with GMA Network, Inc. yesterday, January 31.

Carla became emotional because she considers her contract renewal one of her life’s blessings, “I’m very happy. It’s my 10^th year in show business and in GMA. To say na sobrang happy and grateful na nag-trust ulit ang GMA sa akin is an understatement. Sobrang ninanamnam ko siya. Imagine 10 years in the industry and in GMA, so happy na binigyan ako ng opportunity ulit. Hindi lang siya blessing for the New Year kundi blessing siya for my 10^th year in the business.”

“Sana magtuloy-tuloy lang ang good working relationship. Sabi ko kay Lord, “I will always do my best, yung ganitong opportunity hindi dapat sayangin. Bawat chance na magtrabaho, gawin lang ang best talaga,” she added.

The beautiful Kapuso actress is one of the Kapuso Station’s home-grown artists. Present in the contract signing were GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña Magno, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara and Arnold Vegafria, Carla’s manager.

During the contract signing held at the Boardroom of GMA Network, Atty. Gozon expressed his genuine support for Carla, “We are very, very happy na nagrenew sa atin si Carla dahil isa siya sa pinakamagaling natin na artista. Marami tayong pinaplano kay Carla. We are very thankful.”

Rasonable, in turn, revealed some of Carla’s upcoming projects this year. ”Alam naman natin na napakagaling niyang artista, and she’s very versatile.

We are already planning the soap that she will star in.

Marami pa siyang ibang capabilities, nagco-comedy siya, nagho-host siya, ma-e-explore natin lahat yun dahil sayang naman ang kanyang talent.”
