A little more than two months after getting married, Kapuso celebrities Gee Canlas and Archie Alemania announce that they are expecting their first child in March.

The couple is currently on vacation in Boracay, where Gee posts a photo announcing their pregnancy captioned, “Last year, I was grateful to be back with the love of my life. Now, we’re celebrating a new life! Will it be a Mini Gee or a Mini Chie?” She adds, “We’re excited for you little one! You’ll never have a boring day with us as your parents, I promise!”

She adds the hashtag #24weeks, which implies that she is six months pregnant. Archie, on the other hand, also posts a photo saying, “Mini Me or Mini Gee, let’s see… an Alemania is on its way. Can’t wait for you my fourth,” referring to his three kids Gabby, Kai, and Brent, who he had with former partner Mickey Ferriols. Archie also says in a mix of English and Filipino, “Me, Mom, and your siblings are so excited. Love you little one,” joking, “You’re going to get some pinching from me!”

Gee and Archie officially tied the knot last October 27, 2018 at The Monochrome in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna after being engaged for one month. Before that, the two initially broke up after two years of being together and met at a wake five years later, where they rekindled their relationship. Archie revealed, “It just so happened that she didn’t have a boyfriend and I didn’t have a girlfriend. I was her last boyfriend. After five years, she doesn’t have a boyfriend. We’re probably meant for each other,” adding, “I presented right away my intentions. I told her, I still have feelings for you and if you still have feelings, can we try to see things if they’ll work out? Just give another shot.”
