PBA three-way trade as Erram moves to NLEX for rookie draft recruits
Erram was a part of the national team during the 2018 Asian Games which Coach Yeng Guiao headed, so he is already familiar with the NLEX system. During his last three conferences with the Elite, on the other hand, he has averaged a double-double at 12.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game during 29 elimination round games. The six-foot-eight center also satisfied Coach Yeng’s long search for an NLEX big man. Also, joining Erram as a new Road Warrior is Papot Paredes from TnT.
When it comes to TnT acquisitions, Blackwater agreed to give up their second-round pick during the 2022 draft as well as big man Michael Miranda.
The Elite, on the other hand, already hinted their acquisitions after 2018 PBA Rookie Draft fourth pick Paul Desiderio and seventh pick Abu Tratter were spotted signing three-year deals with the team last Thursday.
In a statement released by Desiderio’s management group, the former Fighting Maroon is “happy” that “Blackwater gave [him] a chance to perform,” saying, I didn’t expect to get a contract that long. I don’t feel added pressure but I promise to give my best every game.” It is also important to add that the Coach Leo Isaac-led squad continues to keep its young aura as Desiderio’s former State U teammate Diego Dario also recently signed a one-year contract. Bobby Ray Parks, who was selected by Blackwater as the league’s second draft pick, has yet to sign with any team.
