Kapuso actress Iza Calzado is now Mrs. Wintle as she married her longtime boyfriend and Booky business partner in Club Paradise, Coron, Palawan last Wednesday, December 19.

Iza walked down the aisle in a lace dress by Rajo Laurel, escorted by her younger brother Dash Calzado.

During Iza’s vows to now-husband Ben, she states, “It may have taken time for us to take this big leap. But the time that it took for us to prepare the ingredients for the sweet delicacy called our marriage is just perfect. Because I stand before you today knowing that I have never been sure of anything in my life.” She adds, “Yes, Ben, you are handsome. But this is the least most beautiful thing about you. You are so much more than just beautiful.” Iza concludes her vows saying, “I love your kind and compassionate heart. I love your humor, your gentle soul. I love that you are smart, and hardworking, and that you’re a great leader. I love that you are adventurous,” she adds, jokingly, “[And] believe it or not, I love your poop stories.”

Some of Iza and Ben’s celebrity guestlist included fellow “Forever Sanggree” stars Sunshine Dizon, Karylle, Diana Zubiri and husband Andy Smith, and celebrity family Dra. Vicki Belo, Dr. Hayden Kho Jr., Scarlet Snow Belo, Cristalle Belo, Justin Pitt, and six-month-old Hunter James. Scarlet was one of the flower girls during the ceremony. Divine Lee, Blake Go, and son Baz were also present, as well as event host Tim Yap, hairstylist Jing Monis, interior designer Nix Alanon, and the man who designed Iza’s gown himself, Rajo.

The beach wedding that took place during sunset was decorated by event stylist Gideon Hermosa, while Iza’s makeup was done by Juan Sarte, her hair done by Celeste Tuviere, and overall styling by Kat Cruz. The official photographer was Pat Dy.

Iza and Ben met at a magazine event in 2011. They announced their engagement six years later in October 2017.
