Celebrity couple Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica are officially Mr. and Mrs. after getting married last Tuesday, December 11 at Villa Milagros in Rizal.

The former Encantadia star walked down the aisle to Des’ree’s “I’m Kissing You” in an off-shoulder Mak Tumang gown and custom-made shoes by Jefferson Si. She was glammed up by makeup artist Mark Qua, who is a good friend of stepmom Mariel Padilla.

Aljur, on the other hand, wore a patterned suit and was groomed by Renz Pangilinan. Videos circulated where you can hear the pastor during the ceremony tell Aljur to “love Kylie,” adding, “Your job is to protect your wife.”

Twenty-five-year-old Kylie was accompanied by her older sister Queenie, who was the matron of honor, while younger sister Zhen Zhen was maid of honor. Twenty-eight-year-old Aljur’s brothers Vin and Allen were a couple of the groomsmen. The guestlist also included Kylie’s parents, Robin Padilla and Leizl Sicangco, her brother Ali who flew to Manila from Australia for the event, her stepmom Mariel, social media influencer Sophie Albert, Kylie’s GMA7 co-stars Gabbi Garcia and boyfriend Khalil Ramos, Maritoni Fernandez and daughter Lexi, and My Special Tatay actress Rita Daniela, who performed during the reception.

The venue of the wedding was embellished with romantic blooms and candelabras, while lines from Lang Leav’s poems were written on the aisle all organized by wedding planner La Belle Fete.

Kylie and Aljur have been dating since 2011, but have been amidst third-party controversies that caused their breakup in 2014. They got back together in 2016 and soon announced their engagement along with their pregnancy in January 2017. A few months later, they welcomed their baby boy Alas Joaquin.
