While other women of her age are splashing their cash on luxury bags that give them an enormous sense of pleasure, actress KC Concepcion, on the other hand, held herself back from buying these sparkly things to invest on a beach property in the country.

In her Instagram post along with a picture of a property with a beach view, KC thanked her mom, Sharon Cuneta, and her grandparents for teaching her the importance of saving and investing at an early age.

“Like every working millennial or woman in their 30s, I am continuing to learn how to take care of, grow, and move around personal finances,” KC said.

As a girl who wants to reward herself for working hard, KC, of course, shared that she wanted to buy a Hermes bag which costs a very, very large amount of fortune, but her grandmother, stepdad, Senator Francis Pangilinan, and her mom did not want her to spend her hard-earned money on something that she has had her eye on for a while.

“[They] were so strict about saving up to buy property FIRST, before getting that Hermes bag,” she said.

“Yes, pressure and standards were high but I am glad they were!” she added.

Even though deep inside her she wanted to purchase the bag, she is thankful that she was able to learn about “delayed gratification” to “afford the BEACH.”

Sharing this important lesson she learned from her family, KC then motivates her social media followers to strive harder at work to achieve their life goals.

“What’s YOUR dream? Keep busy, and work smart, so you too can make your dreams come true. On your own terms. And quietly, without stepping on anyone’s toes. DREAM BIG! BE KIND! You can ACHIEVE it!” she ended.

Apart from this investment, KC earlier launched her jewelry line, Avec Moi by Kristina, in March.

During the launch event, the actress sold the 26-piece collection she personally designed.
