Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes reveal the gender of baby number two
Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have already gotten more than 500,000 views from their “Team Dantes” YouTube video revealing that the sex of their baby expected to arrive early 2019.
In a video taken last Sunday, November 18 and posted a week later, the couple is shown with their daughter Zia participating in the Color Run. At the end of their race, blue powder exploded, while Marian wrote “boy” on the floor. The video even included big sister Zia blowing out her cake from her third birthday party earlier last week, which she then shouted “I’m a big sister already!” in a mix of English and Filipino.
When asked what her birthday wish was, she confidently answered “baby brother.” Along with the Color Run and toddler Zia’s birthday party, the YouTube video included snippets of the Dantes family’s most recent family vacation.
Before the gender-reveal video, Marian and Dingdong posted another film of their favorite memories so far with their eldest child entitled “Three Years of Happiness.” The former Marimar leading man Dingdong unveilED, “Last night before going to bed, Marian and I reminisced about how our little Letizia has changed our lives. With the same excitement, we’d like to share some of the most precious snippets of how these Three Years of Happiness have evolved, right on this special birth week of Zia.” A few days later, Marian postED a teaser of their upcoming announcement on Instagram saying, “Blue or Pink? I’m very excited to share the gender of our second baby through our official youtube channel.”
Marian and Dingdong initially announced their second pregnancy last September through the posting of an ultrasound photo, captioned, “My heart overflows with gratitude and humility. Dong and I, with our Zia, have been gifted with the miracle of life!
Looking forward to meeting our ‘little one’ soon.” In a previous interview with PhilStar, Marian hinted wanting to have a son, admitting in Filipino, “If given the opportunity, like I said, I already have Zia so I would rather have a boy. But, whatever God gives me, I’m okay with as long as normal and healthy because I still have two more chances because I want four kids.”
