CAUAYAN CITY– President Rodrigo Duterte said he will dismiss the three cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) who forced two male plebes—who allegedly did not heed orders—to perform oral sex.
“I will dismiss them. I have no place for people like them,” Duterte said during a post-disaster command conference at the Hotel Andrea in Isabela here on Thursday.
Duterte said he already read a report about the incident that transpired in the police academy in Silang, Cavite last month.
“Whatever the decision, pag dating niyan sa akin it is actually a dismissal na. I don’t need that kind of shit. Ayoko ‘yung mga sundalo ko pati mga pulis ko na dehumanized,” he added.
The President said he would not let police to dehumanize fellows with lewd acts.
“I also experienced hazing, I endured pain, I was hospitalized,” he said, adding that he would not let this happen to others under his stead.
“But this kind of hazing where you would ask to eat … all of you are men. He will go out of that academy almost robbed of his humanity, and he’d always remember that,” he added.
