The camp of Gretchen Fullido, a Kapamilya entertainment reporter, revealed the text messages sent to her by former ABS-CBN News executive Cheryl Favila and ABS-CBN News segment producer Maricar Asprec that allegedly contain “sexual innuendos.”

It was last Friday, when Gretchen filed a sexual harassment complaint against Cheryl and Maricar, along with a libel complaint that the reporter filed against Cecilia “Ces” Drilon and Venancio Borromeo, news executives of ABS-CBN, and news reporter Marie Lozano.

According to a report by The Manila Times, a copy of the complaint filed before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office was shared to them by Gretchen’s legal counsel, Marvin Aceron, on Monday, October 8.

The complaint, it said, contains the text messages that Cheryl and Maricar allegedly sent to the ABS-CBN reporter starting from 2015 to 2017, among others.

Her camp claimed that Cheryl and Maricar gave Gretchen the “feeling that she needed to be close to them beyond the Boss-Colleague level” when “Tara Grets” began in April 2015.

Hosted by Gretchen, “Tara Grets” is a tourism-oriented segment on TV Patrol, the ABS-CBN flagship newscast.

In the complaint, The Manila Times reported, Maricar would “instruct’ Gretchen to “show affection” to Cheryl whenever she was mad at the reporter for something.

It also claimed that Cheryl, who is in an “open relationship” with Maricar, usually reserved her Thursday for a “third party.” Maricar, on the other hand, allegedly asked Gretchen to become Cheryl’s “Thursday Girl,” but the showbiz reporter did not accept the “request/offer.”

Among the text messages that was sent to Gretchen since 2015, according to the report, are as follows:

“I pitched for you to be the social media anchor for Election Marathon. But mas gusto ko pa rin ng (I still like a) strip-teaser. Gretch yata (Maybe).”

“Think of writing a story this way: having sex is different from ‘making love.’ Making love entails emotions, not just doing the act. Always try to ‘make love’ to your stories. I am very partial to it.”

“Thank you, Gretchen! Pero gusto ko ng live rendition ng Happy Birthday song mo, na naka super sexy outfit ka. Hahaha! Birthday ko naman, di ba?” (I want a live rendition of your Happy Birthday song with you wearing a super-sexy outfit. Hahaha! It’s my birthday anyway.)

“Good morning! Tara Grets was my shower moment this morning…”

Gretchen, in her statement earlier, said when she rejected their advances, the duo will retaliate by making it “difficult” for the complainant to work as TV Patrol’s reporter and anchor.

Cheryl and Maricar’s camp, through Lawyer Evalyn Ursua, had already denied the allegations made by Gretchen against them, saying that it was “unfortunate” that the reporter decided to pursue her complaint even after it was previously dismissed as “baseless” by the ABS-CBN.
