In honor of Seve’s second birthday, Toni also posted a photo of her and her son that captioned, “Happy second birthday, my firstborn! My joy in life is seeing you happy! To many train stations you want to see until you outgrow them and find your new happiness again. I love you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for giving me so many reasons to look forward to tomorrow. May all your great dreams come true! I love you.” (Photo: celestinegonzaga/Instagram)

Filmmaker Paul Soriano revealed why actress/host Toni Gonzaga was not present alongside his visit to the ABS-CBN Ball 2018 that was held last September 29 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

At a press conference for his newest film First Love, starring Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo set to be released on October 17, Paul shared that Toni did not walk the red carpet because it was their son Seve’s second birthday celebration.

“We planned a trip to LA (Los Angeles) a couple months ago,” he shared.

“Even before the Ball was announced, we already planned that we want to bring Seve to Los Angeles on his second birthday. Even me, I’m in the middle of promoting the film, I took a week off to celebrate the second birthday of my son Seve in Los Angeles, where I am from. I want to show him where I was born,” he added.

Paul also answered the common question of when he and Toni will have another child, stating, “We are still embracing Seve. No plans yet. We definitely want to have another one, but right now we are enjoying Seve.”

I love you.”

The photo was of Toni and Seve in front of a train, which she previously shared that Thomas (also known as Thomas the Tank Engine from The Railway Series books) is her son’s favorite character.
