It’s a celebration of year number one for Liz Uy’s son Xavi last September 20, in which the stylist threw the most extravagant fiesta-themed party this past weekend in honor of the special event. It was held at The Loft at The Manansala, Rockwell, Makati.
Liz shared a series of photos of the shindig on Instagram, making sure to promote Pinoy culture in every detail. For decor, colorful Filipino bandaritas were strung around the ceiling and banigs lay across the floor. Snacks included dirty ice cream and a cake layered with mascarpone, pandan, and ube, to which Liz even shared a video of Xavi blowing the candles of as a highlight of the event.
To top it all of, the party even had a sari-sari store, which offered children their favorite treats. The hosts of the event were Raymond Gutierrez and Nicole Anderson, who led games like Hep Hep Hooray and Bingo. Celebrity photographer BJ Pascual even shared on Instagram that he received La Mer products as a prize to winning one of the games.
The guest list for Xavi’s party was star-studded as celebrities like Nikki Gil, Mariel Padilla, Bea Soriano-Dee, Sarah Lahbati, and Isabelle Daza attended with their husbands and children. Raymond Racaza, Liz’s boyfriend, was in attendance as well.
It was not until March 2018 when Liz first introduced her baby Xavi to the public. She had him baptized a few months later with a Chioiserie reception. The father of the stylist’s baby, Raymond Racaza, has not frequently been seen with Liz due to the initial controversy that surrounded the couple after the announcement. Claims said that Raymond left his wife Dr. Ging Zamora-Racaza and daughter for his affair with Liz, which the ‘It Girl’ eventually slammed rumors stating in an interview that she and Raymond got together after the split.
