Edward Barber: Why choose the normal when you can choose the strange?

Edward Barber once again made the hearts of his fans beat rapidly as he gave a short but nakakakilig message to his fellow Pinoy Big Brother housemate-turned-onscreen partner, Maymay Entrata.

“Why choose the normal when you can choose the strange?

No one normal ever did anything extraordinary. Find the white rose amongst the red and let your life receive color.

#YoureTheWhiteAmongstTheRed,” Edward said in an Instagram post on Friday, September 14.

Along with his caption is a photo of Maymay holding a bouquet of red roses with a white rose in the middle.

Edward’s post has garnered 112,322 likes as of writing, with their fans sending hearts and heart eyes emojis.

“Tagal ko ba nakatulog (Am I asleep for a long time)???? Bat di ko namalayan Valentines day na pala kahapon (Why did I not notice that it was already Valentine’s Day yesterday)????” Instagram user @bluegallego wrote.

User @lifeissacute felt giddy while reading Edward’s message to Maymay, even teasing the two to get married already.

Netizen @neera_lee also got the kilig vibe and said, “OMG! Edward, are you 18? The way you think is so different from your peers. You’re not normal, too. You and @maymay are both weird! Weird, in a nice way, though.”

Since the reality show where Edward and Maymay first drew viewers’ attention had ended, the two young artists have appeared in various television programs such as Wansapanataym Presents: Ikaw ang GHOSTo ko, which is their first starring TV team-up.

Edward and Maymay, popularly known as MayWard, also starred in movies together — Loving in Tandem in 2017 and Da One That Ghost Away in 2018.

Just last month, it was announced by Dreamscape’s Deo Endrinal and Eric John Salut that MayWard will soon have their first lead roles for a teleserye, Honey My Love So Sweet.

Even though further details regarding their show were still kept under wraps, fans of their loveteam already expressed support and excitement for the project.
