It was only last month when the relationship between Hashtag member Ronnie Alonte and his rumored girlfriend Loisa Andalio was reported to had gone through a rough patch.

While many of their supporters were saddened by it, rumors on what could be the reason why the Kapamilya stars were not in good terms also surfaced.

Ronnie, previously admitted that he and Loisa had a misunderstanding, following their social media posts which seemed to hint that they were going through a difficult time.

But the 21-year-old actor did not reveal what exactly happened as he wanted to keep it between them.

“Private eh. Meron lang ‘di pagkakaintindihan o meron lang hindi pagkakaunawaan, pero sana soon maayos. Kung kami talaga, edi kami talaga (It is private. We just have a misunderstanding, but I hope we can fix it soon. If we are meant to be, then we will be),” he told ABS-CBN News in July.

Amid this issue, there were rumors that the cause of the conflict was that Loisa had a “one-night stand” with a non-showbiz guy, which the 19-year-old actress denied.

Loisa said she was offended by this accusation, saying some people made such rumor when they know how important Ronnie is to her and that she could never do something like what her bashers were saying.

“As in napaka OA (over-acting) talaga, grabe! Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ko kayang gawin iyan, ‘di ko talaga kayang gawin iyan (They were over-reacting, as in! I said, ‘I cannot do such thing, I cannot really do that’)!‘” Loisa told Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) on Sunday, August 5.

She continued, “Nasasaktan ako, grabe nila akong i-judge na hindi naman nila alam kung ano ang nangyari. Gumawa na lang siguro ang mga bashers ko ng kwento at ito na ang pinaniwalaan nila (I was hurt because they judged me even though they do not know what happened. Maybe my bashers just came up with a story and that is what they believed).”

Loisa said she did not want to take her defense to Twitter by saying, “Ah, ‘di po totoo yung one-night stand (the one-night stand is not true).”

“Parang ayoko na kayong (bashers) bigyan ng time, dahil hindi naman totoo. Happy ako this time nabigyan ako ng opportunity para masabi ko sa mga tao, ma-clear ko sa mga tao na hindi naman talaga totoo [‘yung issue] (I do not want to give my bashers time because it is not true. I’m happy this time because I was given an opportunity to tell and clarify to people that the issue is not true),” she explained.

Just like her on-screen partner, the young actress also admitted that the obstacle they faced was the ‘worst.’

“Private na lang, pero as in grabe, dito kami sobrang sinubok ng tadhana. Ito ‘yung pinaka-worst. Ganun siya kalaki (Let’s keep it private, but really, destiny tested us this time. This is the worst. That is how big it was),” she said.

But despite what happened between them, Loisa said she was happy that she and Ronnie were able to fix their problem.

“Sobrang bait talaga ni Lord kasi hindi Niya kami pinabayaan, kaming dalawa ni Ronnie (The Lord was really kind because He did not leave Ronnie and me),” she added.

The two young stars, popularly known as ‘LoiNie,’ died down their breakup rumors just a few days after it arised. Ronnie proved that all is well when the latter posted a photo of him kissing Loisa on the cheek with a sweet caption: “Simula ngaun hanggang (Staring today up to the) future.”
