Alexander Lee addresses gay rumors
Is Alexander Lee gay? This question might have crossed the minds of those who are curious about his sexuality. So, the Korean actor and singer took it to social media to give light about this issue.
Lee, in his Instagram post on Monday, July 30, seemed to be aware that some people think that he is not “manly enough” because of the way he looks and behaves.
“I might look gay for you but sorry that’s the way I am!” Lee said.
“And I will say this only once: I’m not gay so stop trying to bring me sh*t (accusations, hate comments, blind items, etc) to bring me down, he added.
The actor went on by saying that if he shows a video of himself having an intimate relationship with a woman, would it be enough to justify that he is not what his haters think he is?
Aside from clarifying that he is indeed a straight guy, Lee also said he finds nothing wrong with being gay.
“You think people choose to be gay? Stop judging others. You are not God. And only God knows the reason and the answer why,” Lee stressed.
“Furthermore, even if I go to a gay bar, so what? Being straight or being gay, people will say the same sh*t like ‘He’s gay’,” he continued.
Those who stay at home, he said, could be even “more lustful or immoral.”
“Anyway, conclusion, if you don’t like me then sorry that I don’t fit your taste, there are many other dishes out there for you, so bon appetit,” Lee ended.
His fans then expressed support for their idol, saying that he should do whatever makes him happy and just ignore those who try to bring him down.
User @lhaine_rios_rio told Lee, “You do not need to prove anything to those who misjudged you… just never mind those who have very bean-like minded.”
“I love you just the way you are!! You’re amazing and always keep your head up!! Be yourself and no apologies!!!” lilhoney1974 said.
Meanwhile, @dindinssi wrote, “Thank you for being born brave and true to yourself @xander0729 you are one of the bravest artist that I know.”
“Being able to stand up for yourself and saying what you want to say without hesitation. I salute and adore you! Keep it up,” she added.
Lee, who was a former member of the Korean boy band U-Kiss, starred in a comedy-romance series My Korean Jagiya along with Heart Evangelista. It was aired by GMA Network in 2017.
He also had a special participation in GMA’s Dear Uge, a comedy anthology starring Eugene Domingo.
