Ateneo falls to hot-shooting SoKor

MANILA — Ateneo found South Korea’s fluid offense too tough to handle and bowed, 73-90, in their Jones Cup clash at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City on Monday night.

The Blue Eagles were actually in the thick of things most of the game against South Korea’s national team which was quickly saddled with turnover woes.

SoKor, however, made up for its errors with pinpoint passing, with 30 assists on 36 made baskets, and a fine stroke from the perimeter highlighted by 10 triples out of 18 tries.
