MANILA — Global Cebu is set to lose one key player in the upcoming transfer window as goalkeeper Patrick Deyto announced on Thursday that he is leaving the club.

“Unfortunately my four-year stay with Global Cebu FC has come to an end, sooner than I would’ve wanted. It’s a decision I make with a heavy heart because of the circumstances,” Deyto said in a statement on Instagram.

He then took the opportunity to thank the club and its fans for the support.

“I made a lot of good memories here that I will remember for the rest of my career,” the Azkals’ goalkeeper added.

He then confirmed that he will play for another club at the latter part of the Philippine Football League season.

“It’s now time to defend the goal for my new home,” Deyto added.
