John Lloyd slams fake news about Ellen, ‘son’

After months of having his mouth closed, John Lloyd Cruz speaks up with carefully chosen words.

On a rare occasion, the actor in an indefinite leave from showbiz posts three words, “F*ck fake news.

”

While this may seem like a regular reaction from any other person not just a celebrity, this is the first time for John Lloyd to post something about the rumors that have been surrounding him and his girlfriend Ellen Adarna ever since choosing to stay away from the limelight since October last year.

In his latest Instagram post, the 35-year-old actor uploaded a screenshot of the news story and called out the news media that reported: “Ellen Adarna got her son baptized and the hospital security was extra tight.”

Typing only three words, John Lloyd did not specify which part of the news story is fake news. Is it that they did not have a son, that there was no baptism, or that there was no hospital involved? No one really knows except for him and his girlfriend.

This recent development in the controversial couple’s life is only one of the many they have faced and are still facing to this day.

One of the most recent in the pool of rumors is that ABS-CBN, John Lloyd’s mother network has refused his re-entry to his job as a celebrity.

The Kapamilya network’s Corporate Communications Head Kane Errol Choa in a statement denied this.

“There is no truth to reports that John Lloyd Cruz approached ABS-CBN to request that he return to work and that the network turned him down.

John Lloyd is still on an indefinite leave to attend to personal matters. ABS-CBN values its strong relationship with John Lloyd built through the years,” he said.

He then added, “ABS-CBN’s doors are always open to John Lloyd, and he will always be a Kapamilya.”

In the middle of his indefinite leave, John Lloyd is playing Romeo in the sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” – to which Ellen is also a part of.

To cover up for this, writers of the sitcom chose to continue the story by implying that his character had an affair abroad.
