Halifax police arrest 23 year old suspect in Saturday afternoon stabbing

HALIFAX — A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing in Halifax.

Police responded at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of a possible stabbing on Convoy Avenue in Fairview.

They found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound in his arm.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police say the suspect and the victim know each other.

The suspect will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Tuesday to face weapons charges.
