MANILA — For the first time since the UFL days, the Rizal Memorial Stadium will host not one but two pro football matches on the same night.

Davao Aguilas and Global Cebu will play hosts to their respective opponents in a rare PFL doubleheader at the said venue on Saturday night.

This developed as Cebu opted to transfer its supposed game against Negros to Rizal Memorial from the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan, Laguna.

But with the 4 p.m. slot already locked in for Davao’s match against Laguna, the rematch of last year’s final is now the nightcap of the doubleheader at 7 p.m.

Davao and Laguna will face off in the front end of a back-to-back schedule, pitting the two sides for third place in the league table. They will meet again on Sunday at the said venue.

On the other hand, Cebu looks to find its winning ways again against the defending champion in a top-versus-bottom battle.
