Several Build, Build, Build projects near completion

In line with the policy instruction of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark A. Villar to ensure the delivery of quality “Build, Build, Build” construction products to ultimate customers that is the travelling public, Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain (2nd from right), in-charge of DPWH Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) operations and Technical Services, conducts quality inspections with the near completion of works at Phase 2 of Plaridel Bypass Road Project that will fully link North Luzon Expressway in Balagtas, Bulacan with the Philippine Japan Friendship Highway, also called Maharlika Highway, in San Rafael, Bulacan within 30 minutes.

The 24.61 kilometer Plaridel Bypass Road funded by the Government of the Philippines and the Japan International Cooperation Agency includes a 1.

12 kilometer bridge spanning Angat River (lower photo) constructed of pre-stressed concrete continuous box girder main span erected by balance cantilever method.  Others in photo are Project Director Virgilio Castillo, Project Manager Roseller Tolentino and Project Engineer Hermie Sablan of the implementing office DPWH-Roads Management Cluster 1-UPMO, and Project Manager Giuseppe Mirabito of consulting firm Renardet S.
