MANILA — Former NBA superstar Stephon Marbury and streetball sensation Greyson Boucher graced the Chiang Kai Shek College Gym here to teach kids dribbling and shooting skills on Monday.

Dubbed “Ball for a Cause”, Marbury and Boucher conducted basic ball handling and shooting drills to the young ballers with some members of Alab Pilipinas, including world imports Justin Brownlee and Renaldo
Balkman.

“It’s an incredible experience. We did this on a whim. We’re going like a couple of weeks in advance,” Boucher, more popularly known as “The Professor”, told the Philippine News Agency (PNA).

“I wanna say ‘Thank you’ to Sheryl Reyes (sports agent) for bringing this thing together,” he said.

The basketball camp was conducted for the benefit of Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara’s youth program, particularly helping out the Don Bosco Foundation.

Angara, who is also the chairman of the SBP, also attended the said event and even showed his dribbling skills to Boucher.

Nakakatuwa,” Angara said on the good turnout of the event. “For the kids, it’s such a big thrill na makasama nila ‘yung former NBA all-star Stephon Marbury, the ‘Global Hooper’ (Boucher), the Alab players.”
