Police: 12 year old pulls knife during fight on school bus
Baltimore police spokesman Cpl. Shawn Vinson tells The Baltimore Sun the Dumbarton Middle School student was charged as a juvenile with assault with a deadly weapon. The student was also found to have a can of pepper spray during the Monday incident.
The other student involved in the fight, a 13-year-old, has been charged with assault.
It’s unknown if either student has a lawyer.
Vinson says no one was injured during the fight.
An assistant principal, Cheryl Scott, said in a voicemail to parents that another student had a folding knife on the same bus in an unrelated incident.
Baltimore County Public Schools didn’t respond to the newspaper’s request for comment.
