HÀ NỘI — The Việtnam Footwear Summit 2018 will be held at The Reverie Sài Gòn Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on March 21-22.

This year’s summit, themed “Development model for footwear factories in the new context,” is estimated to draw more than 300 domestic and international participants.

Phan Thị Thanh Xuân, vice chairwoman and general secretary of the Việt Nam Leather, Footwear, and Handbag Association (Lefaso), said the event would bring together leading experts in the footwear sector to exchange new trends and models in the fashion industry.

Through the conference, participating enterprises will capture trends of the footwear industry across the world, such as the application of new materials, automation technology, information technology, and cost management solutions, as well as energy consumption, fulfilling environmental requirements, social responsibility, and the macro policies of countries that directly affect the footwear sector.

At the summit, international experts will also analyze and update information to help businesses orient their vision and strategy for business development.

Enterprises can have the opportunity to meet and find customers from more than 20 countries in the region and the world.
