She may have been pained from her past rocky relationship, but this does not stop Angelica Panganiban from giving advice to those who are currently experiencing struggles and disappointments in their current flames.

In the latest episode of her YouTube series entitled #AskAngelica, the “Ang Dalawang Mrs.Reyes” star was seen giving love advice to her viewers. Before she could even read the first question coming from her fan, her guest co-host Donna Carriaga shared that her ex-boyfriend’s current partner wants to meet her. Donna asked Angelica what she would do if she was in the same shoes.

Angelica immediately reacted by laughing, then she responded, “Hindi ko alam, baka masaktan ko ‘yun (I don’t know, I might hurt her).” She then dropped a brick saying, “Kasi unang-una, hindi naman ako pinalitan. Pinilit eh! Pinilit sirain ‘yung relasyon, kaya may galit (Because in the first place, I wasn’t replaced. She forced it! She forced to ruin the relationship, that’s why there’s anger).”

Donna told the 31-year-old actress that her ex-lover appears to have breached the “three month rule” imposed by the guy himself. She said before they could even part their ways, her ex-boyfriend had already been with his new girl.

Answering with a smile on her face, Angelica asked, “Saan mo narinig ‘yung ‘three month rule’ na ‘yan (Where did you hear about that ‘three month rule’)?” Not giving a clear answer, Dona replied, “Narinig ko po yan kay ano po eh… si ano po eh… si ano (I heard it from…),” to which the both of them laughed.

To recall, the famous “three month rule” phrase was mentioned by actor John Lloyd Cruz’s character in the 2007 iconic romantic movie “One More Chance.” John Lloyd is Angelica’s former boyfriend.

When Donna said she would want to slap her former partner’s new girlfriend, Angelica sympathized with Donna, saying that it would feel satisfying.

However, the actress took back her answer and gave a serious response.

“Masama ‘yun. Huwag tayo lumebel sa kanila, kasi mas mataas tayo doon. Huwag natin ibaba ang sarili natin (It’s bad. Don’t stoop down to their level because we’re higher than them),” she said.

In another seemingly hint of her past relationship experience, a viewer named Alexa sought for her advice as her boyfriend, whom she is dating for two months, got a girl pregnant. Upon reading the question, Angelica comically dropped her cue cards and looked humorously stunned.

“Nasa sa’yo naman ‘yan kung ia-accept mo or ano (It’s up to you if you will accept it or not or)… instant family ‘di ba? Kung gusto mo, ikaw na magpalaki dun sa bagets (If you want, raise the child),” the actress answered.

Rising from her heartbreak, Angelica appeared confident about having moved on from her past flame, as she gave another fan advice about “breaking down” every time she encounters her ex-boyfriend.

“Okay lang umiyak. I-embrace mo ‘yan (It’s okay to cry. Embrace it),” Angelica said.

“Hindi masamang masaktan, hindi masamang maging malungkot o tamaan sa mga nakikita mo at nababalitan mo. Iiyak mo ‘yan. Mapapagod din, mauubos din ang luha mo. Tapos doon mo maiisip, ‘Ay, hindi na ako naiiyak’ (It’s not bad to feel hurt, it’s not bad to be sad or be affected by what your eyes see and what you hear. Just cry. You will eventually get tired, your tears will be gone. And then you’ll realized ‘I’m not crying anymore’),” she added.
