Reconciliation in Action is a fun and inclusive event that will engage diverse community members, organizations, artists, as well as Indigenous and non-Indigenous community leaders in a variety of activities that celebrate and build off the strengths and diversity of the local neighborhood. Our hope is to help facilitate new relationships and shared understandings while acknowledging the past, confronting difficult histories and advancing towards a future of shared possibilities, responsibilities and mutual respect.

The event will showcase some of the collective efforts and successes of Hastings Community Centre and several area partner groups over the past year as part of their commitment toward reconciliation and inclusion in the local neighborhood. It will also create an opportunity for other groups and individuals who want to join and be a part of this ongoing inclusion work to sign up to receive information and invitations regarding future community meetings, activities and events.
