Minneapolis police say their officers have been involved in a shooting inside the department’s investigative unit at City Hall.

The Minneapolis Police Departments didn’t provide details in confirming on its Twitter account that a shooting happened late in the business day.

Inside City Hall, officers were seen putting up crime tape in the hallway outside the room where the shooting happened.

Police say there is no threat to the public. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is on the scene.
