Bautista files charges against wife

After his wife divulged his alleged corruption and hidden wealth, Andres “Andy” Bautista, the poll chief, filed charges of grave coercion, qualified theft and robbery, and extortion against wife Patricia Bautista.

The lawyer of Bautista’s wife, Martin Loon, said that Patricia is ready to face the suits filed against her but cited that it was the poll chief who may have committed greater crimes.

He added that the actions of the COMELEC chief is meant to prevent the wife from spilling more proofs and reassured the public that the truth is on their side.

Meanwhile, Bautista guarantees that the accusations against him will soon be explained in due time. He also he dared the estranged wife to file cases against him instead of going to the media spreading documents she claimed to be evidences against him.
