It’s official! Bailey May, known for his fondness for music after becoming one of Pinoy Big Brother’s (PBB) housemates is now flying to new heights as he joins the global pop group, Now United.

Bailey has been filling his Instagram account with photos and clips of his experiences with the group, but it was only this November 16 that Now United made it official on its social media accounts to have “Bae Bailey” – the only member from the Philippines. Star Magic also shared Now United’s video.

The 15-year-old also posted about it, dubbing it as a “dream come true.”

Now United is a group formed by Simon Fuller – the mastermind behind “American Idol” and the legendary Spice Girls.

While the group is very cryptic in its approach of unveiling more about its nature, it claims to ‘unite’ different talents from 11 countries that include Brazil, Canada, Finland, India, Japan, Russia, Senegal, South Korea, United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), and of course the Philippines.

In its teaser, it presents itself as a crew that wishes to connect its stars to the fans – aiming for an immersive relationship especially with this generation’s plethoric use of social media.

Along with Bailey, his on-screen partner and co-PBB housemate Ylona Garcia, Dance Kids winner AC Bonifacio, and another Star Magic artist Jane De Leon represented the Philippines as finalists in Now United’s bootcamp last August.

In September, Bailey was very particular in his experience in the bootcamp. “There was a part of a dance where I really struggled on but I practiced for the whole day and when it came to the performance/showcase, I got it right and that such a fun, motivational experience for me,” he said

Ylona was thankful for the opportunity to meet new people. “The bootcamp was a great avenue for me to hone my talent through the help of renowned choreographers and singing coaches in Hollywood.”

AC, on the other hand, said, “The best thing about Now United is that all of us from around the world get to connect and relate through dance and singing.”

Star Magic will still co-manage Bailey even though he is now joining another group.

Bailey is the 11th member to be bared, three more names will be announced to complete the 14-member group.
