DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite— More than 1,500 college students across the country are slated to convene for their 3rd Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) Summit at the Ugnayang La Salle at the De La Salle University (DLSU)-Damariñas campus here on Nov. 17.

The event, hosted by the DLSU-D JFINEX, aims to train coeds on financial independence, reflecting on the summit theme “Financial Fitness: Your Fitness Plan, Redefined.

Four speakers will share their expertise on financial management.

Keeping attuned to the millennial approach, the financial speakers will present their comprehensive presentations through the summit’s four so-called routines: “Stretch, Train, Twist, and Chill.”

Organizers said the objective is to provide participants with a healthy mix of abilities and understanding to help them attain financial independence.

The “stretch” portion will be managed by former comedienne and now corporate trainer Chinky Tan, who will speak on financial freedom and success.

The Summit host said Tan is expected to motivate participants “to live holistic and purposeful life.

Financial literacy advocate Salve Duplito will give the participants the “twist,” with Ed Martinez tapped for the “train” part, while Edmund Lee presents the “chill.”

DLSU-D JFINEX intends this year’s junior summit to be a financial planning event for the attendees.
