Dianne Medina says ‘YES’ to Rodjun Cruz

It was more than 10 years in the making before the actress and TV anchor Dianne Medina gave her sweetest answer to Rodjun Cruz, brother of actor-dancer Rayver Cruz.

It feels like God already gave Rodjun the ‘perfect time’ to ask Dianne if she could stay by his side through the best and the worst. The proposal happened during their trip in the picturesque island of Boracay on Tuesday, October 10.

Medina, on her recent Instagram post, showed a photo of her—teary-eyed— as Cruz puts his knees on the ground, holding a ring in his hand, as he earnestly asked the question to her long-time girlfriend.

“In God’s perfect time Love you @rodjuncruz.” Medina wrote as a caption on her post, tagging her long-time beau and his brother Rayver.

“Ang pinakamagandang regalo na natanggap ko ngayong kaarawan ko ay ang matamis mong oo! [The best gift that I’ve ever received on my birthday is your sweetest yes!]Rodjun wrote on the same picture-perfect photo, as if he was shouting those words at the top of his lungs.

Rayver Cruz also shared the couple’s photo, captioning the split second with: “Kay tagal kong inantay ang araw na toh mahal na mahal ko kayong dalawa sobra congrats guys!!!! [I’ve waited for this day! I love you both, congrats guys!!!!]

In her Instagram stories, Medina also showed her engagement ring as she shared a peek of their moments as newly-engaged couple.

The couple is among the few in showbiz whose relationship lasts for a long time. Medina-Cruz’ love story rooted from the time when they were both under ABS-CBN’s talent arm Star Magic.

Medina, in an interview with PEP last July, said that they were still working very hard to save more money.

“Waiting game talaga. Si Rodjun lang talaga ang hinihintay ko. If you’ll ask me, anytime naman, I’m ready to settle down [It’s really a waiting game. I’m just waiting for Rodjun. If you’ll ask me, anytime I’m ready to settle down].”

The couple will now be preparing themselves to walk down the aisle and vow to be together for the rest of their lives.
