‘Fist of Fury’ boxing bout set in Iligan

DAVAO CITY — The next “Fist of Fury 2” boxing bout is set on October 15 at the Robinsons Place in Iligan City, featuring three separate championship fights.

Promoter Raffy Jimenez of RCJ Promotions said the main event is the title fight for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight between Gerald “The Predator” Paclar (10-4-2, 5KOs) of Iligan and Mike Kinaadman (6-3-2, 4 KOs) f Lugait, Misamis Oriental.

The other two championships are the Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (MinProBA) minimumweight title-fight of the undefeated Samuel “Silent Assassin” Salva (10-0, 6 KOs) of Iligan and fellow unbeaten Marco John Rementizo (3-0, 2 KOs) of Valencia City, Bukidnon and the Philippine female bantamweight title match of Kim “Bonecrusher” Actub (5-8-1, 4 KOs) of Iligan and Joan Ambalong (6-6-1, 3KOs) of Zamboanga City.

The explosive boxing card is presented by Mayor Celso Regencia, Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz and the members of the 16th Sangguniang Panglungsod of Iligan.

Also pitted are Dexter Alimento of Iligan against Rogen Flores of Dipolog (8 rds.-110 lbs.); Ming-Hung Lee of Taiwan vs. Michael Estrada of Zamboanga (6 rds.-135 lbs.); Jovylito Aligarbes of Iligan vs. Jhofel Camocamo of Dipolog (6 rds.
