Shout-out to all Archies’ huge fans as this will be your chance to see the American singer-songwriter to perform live on Manila stage!

On a video posted on his Facebook account, the “America Idol” Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta announced that he will be returning to the Philippines for a one-night concert on October 20 at the KIA Theater in Quezon City.

“Mabuhay Philippines! David here and I’ve got an announcement. Manila, October 20th at the KIA Theater, we’re coming to do a show. New music to share with all of you after five or six years of this separation we got. I hope to see you guys there and thank you once again for all your support all these years. See you there!” the 26-year-old singer said on the clip.

David made his announcement for his Filipino fans on September 6, Wednesday.

Archuleta is set to perform new music from his latest EP Leo, as well as his old hits in his upcoming concert.

Local concert promoter Ovation Productions have revealed the concert ticket prices at P3,750 (Orchestra), P2,750 (Loge), and P1,750 (Balcony). Fans and concert goers may purchase tickets starting September 8, Friday at Ticketnet.com.ph or at all Ticketnet outlets.

Archie’s fans, on the other hand, were all hyped up as they heard the news about his comeback in Manila. Some of them expressed their excitement on their twitter accounts about the upcoming concert of their idol.

Archuleta made his name when he joined “American Idol: Season 7” and finished as runner-up. He was one of the youngest contestants who joined the said competition.

From his self-titled debut album, the singer released his first single entitled “Crush” in August 2008. Few months after its released, the album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold hundred thousand copies in the U.S as well as worldwide.

In 2012, the singer released his fourth album, “Forevermore”, exclusively in the Philippines. It was his first ‘Original Pilipino Music’ album which contained his covers of Filipino songs.
