Akala ko po ako ay magbabakasyon at magpapahinga (I thought I will take a vacation and I will rest),” ‘The Better Half’ lead actress Shaina Magdayao revealed what is in store for her career.

With the last three weeks of the afternoon serye, Shaina in an interview with ‘Tonight with Boy Abunda,’ admitted with a laugh that the feeling is bittersweet but knows that instead of relationships ending, the bonds formed in their cast is just beginning.

Though her project comes to an end, the actress opened that she will leave for Singapore next week for a bigger project. “I’m going to do a movie with direk Lav Diaz,” she said, smiling.

Lav Diaz is a premiered independent filmmaker, known for his signature long narrative films.

In an interview during Sun Life’s Living and Leaving A Legacy Press Conference on July 8, Charo Santos revealed that she will be working with Diaz in another film after ‘Ang Babaeng Humayo.’ He encouraged her to study German.

“Singapore ‘yung 80% [of the film] but it starts in Frankfurt. I’ll work for a German couple. I was a nanny to the child of a German couple.

Charo spilled a bit that the story is about an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) whose flight back home got delayed, so she had to stay in a Singapore airport where she met fellow OFWs who she got to know.
