Thailand muscles way past Myanmar ahead of Gilas showdown
MANILA–Thailand bounced back from a stinging defeat to Indonesia by pummeling Myanmar, 102-35, in Day 4 of the SEABA Men’s Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Monday.
Wutipong Dasom showed who is the boss in the wire-to-wire win by burying an all-tournament best 40 points with 11 rebounds, one block, and one steal for the Thais, who will face Gilas Pilipinas next on Tuesday night.
Aung Wana led the Burmese side, which remained winless after four matches, with 10 points, six rebounds, and one steal, although he committed nine of the team’s 32 turnovers.
