MANILA—Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and rest of the country, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Saturday afternoon (April 22)

Ridge of a high-pressure area is extending across Luzon and the Visayas while the easterlies are affecting mindanao’s eastern section, noted pagasa.

PAGASA also said light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas.

Winds from the east will prevail over Mindanao, PAGASA continued.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, PAGASA added.
