DND to acquire 3 major medical equipment for AFP Medical Center

MANILA –The Department of National Defense (DND) is allocating PHP294,250,000 for the acquisition of three major items needed for the improvement of the services currently being offered by the AFP Medical Center in Quezon City.

These items are one cardiac-catheterization laboratory system, one hyperbaric chamber and a magnetic resonance imaging system.

The budget can be broken down into the following; PHP100,000,000 for the cardiac-catheterization laboratory system; PHP94,250,000 for the hyperbaric system and PHP100,000,000 for the magnetic resonance imaging system.

Interested bidders must have completed a similar project within the last five years.

Pre-bid conference will proceed on April 18 at the DND Bids and Awards Committee Conference Room, Basement, Left Wing, DND Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

First to undergo the proceess is the cardiac-catheterization laboratory system those pre-bid conference will start 1 p.m. of the said date; hyperbaric chamber at 2 p.m. and magnetic resonance imaging system at 3 p.m.

Bid opening for the said projects is on May 4, at the same venue with the cardiac-catheterization laboratory system at 10 a.m.; hyperbaric chamber at 11 a.m. and magnetic resonance imaging system at 1 p.m.

Winning bidders are required to deliver cardiac-catheterization laboratory system within 180 days; hyperbaric chamber at 300 days and magnetic resonance imaging system at 180 days.
