The lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court contends the 25-year-old Camacho suffered several facial wounds.

Plaintiff’s attorney Bryant Greening says Uber was negligent. Greening seeks a judgment of more than $50,000 for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

Uber spokeswoman Kayla Whaling declined to comment on the lawsuit.

This is the story that will sink Uber

“Uber said to use “sophisticated” software to defraud drivers, passengers”

    https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/04/uber-s

I drove for uber and became aware that their software was not reporting the same prices to passengers as drivers. The passengers were being charged more than was being reported to the drivers. They are doing this in a number of different ways. They delete data of the drivers who are being defrauded the most. I reported this to an attorney who was involved in an Uber class action but there was no action
