MANILA –The education department has set the new schedule for the National Career Assessment Exam (NCAE) in the National Capital Region on March 9 and 10.

According to the department’s Memorandum No. 36 series of 2017 dated March 3, “the new date of test administration of the School Year 2016-2017 NCAE in all divisions in the NCR shall be on March 9 and 10, 2017.”

The department earlier postponed the NCAE, which was initially set on March 1-2, due to “logistical limitations”.

Other areas, however, continued with the conduct of the NCAE last Wednesday and Thursday.

The NCAE aims to determine the learner’s aptitude and occupational interest on any of the Senior High School tracks. The two-day exam also aims to guide the conduct of career guidance at the school level and ensure the development of skills and competencies required for work and career choices.
