WASHINGTON –Kemba Walker, Nicolas Batum and Marco Belinelli each had 17 points as the Charlotte Hornets beat the Brooklyn Nets 111-107 on Tuesday night, snapping their seven-game losing streak.

Charlotte had not won since a January 21 victory over Brooklyn. Seven players of the Hornets scored double-digit in this game. Jeremy Lamb added 16 points for the Hornets, while center Frank Kaminsky recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Trevor Booker had 10 points and 12 rebounds from the bench.

The Hornets surged a 10-0 run in the first quarter to take a 14-4 advantage with 5:28 left in the period and extended the lead to as many as 17 points in the second quarter.

Brooklyn lost their 10th straight game as their last victory coming on January 20 at New Orleans. Bojan Bogdanovic had 22 points and Brook Lopez scored 20 for the Nets.
