MANILA –Roy Doliguez will make his return to the One Championship cage as he looks to inch closer to a second chance at the promotion’s strawweight title.

The former boxer will face Brazilian fighter Alex Silva at One: Throne of Tigers at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 10.

Doliguez, who has a 6-3 record as an MMA fighter, first vied for the said belt in 2015 against then champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke.

Doliguez will make his One comeback against Silva as he begins his quest to get back in the running for the title now owned by Yoshitaka Naito.

Another Filipino will see action in the said card as Burn Soriano will take on hometown hero Saiful Merican.

Soriano etched a name in the game after a 15-second knockout of Mario Wirawan, one of the fastest in the history of the promotion.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Mujtaba will also make his return to One with a showdown against another Malaysian in Keanu Subba.

The Pakistani pugilist became a household name in the Philippines last year after taking the inaugural UGB featherweight title on Jan. 23 at Circuit Makati and successfully defended it at WSOF-GC 3 on July 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City before relinquishing it to join One.
