Cloudy skies, some rains likely to prevail ’til Thursday
MANILA –Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flash floods and landslides will be experienced over Bicol, Aurora and Quezon likely until Thursday, said state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 24-hour advisory, PAGASA added that cloudy skies with light to moderate rains is expected over Metro Manila, rest of Calabarzon, Visayas, Caraga, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Mindanao.
PAGASA said northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon and eastern Visayas.
Moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast to east over Luzon and Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, PAGASA said light to moderate winds coming from northeast to east will prevail with slight to moderate seas.
