American wanted for murder nabbed in Subic
BI Commissioner Jaime Morente identified the foreigner as Yoshikoson Umeko Haddon who was arrested in Subic by agents of the bureau’s fugitive search unit (FSU).
The arrest was made through the mission order issued by the BI chief after the US embassy informed them that the fugitive’s passport was already revoked by the State Department, thus making him an undocumented alien.
“US authorities have described him as a dangerous felon, thus his continued presence here poses a serious threat to public safety,” he said in a statement.
The American is now detained at the BI detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa while awaiting deportation.
Morente said that a US district court in Virgina issued a warrant for Haddon’s arrest in September last year.
He was reportedly charged with capital murder, killing for hire and solicitation of adult to commit felony.
Once deported, the foreigner will be placed in the immigration blacklist to prevent him from returning to the Philippines.
