MANILA, Philippines—According to Star Cinema, ‘The Unmarried Wife’ film starring Paulo Avelino, Dingdong Dantes, and Angelica Panganiban earned P246.3 million worldwide as of December 8, Thursday.

Total gross was announced by Star Cinema through an Instagram post last Thursday. The whole cast and crew had their thanksgiving party for the success of the film.

“The Unmarried Wife,” directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes, is a story about Anne (Angelica Panganiban),  a career oriented woman, who cheated on her husband Geoff (Dingdong Dantes) after finding out that he was also having an affair with another woman (Maricar Reyes). Anne found a new man to love, Bryan (Paulo Avelino), as their marriage began to fail.

Angelica was asked in a BlogCon if she could ever confront a mistress in real life. Relating the questions to her role in the movie, she answered, “Hindi ko sila bibigyan ng time (I won’t give them time).

Panganiban was also asked if she has something to say to mistresses. “Malandi sila. Wala akong patama quote. Alam na ‘yung tao may jowa, bakit… (They are flirts. I don’t have anything to say to them. They already know that someone’s in a relationship, why?…),” Angelica was quoted as saying in a Pep.ph report.

The movie “The Unmarried Wife” earned P17 million when it was first shown in Philippine cinemas last November 16.
