MANILA, Philippines—Celebrity couple Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo is set to wed in December. How do this celebrity couple prepare for the big day? Just like every couples do!
Katherine Grace “Kaye” Abad, former Tabing-Ilog star got engaged to fellow celebrity, Pinoy Big Brother alumnus Paul Jake Castillo, on May 17 after more than two years of romantic relationship. Since then, Kaye and Paul Jake have been busy preparing for their wedding.
Despite her celebrity status, Kaye is hands-on when it comes to planning her wedding. Just like every soon-to-be bride, Kaye has been meeting with friends, families, groups, and individuals who will play parts in her wedding day.
The wedding gown
Celebrity designer Francis Libiran will design Kaye’s wedding gown. The soon-to-be bride met with Libiran almost a month after her engagement to Paul Jake.
“Very excited on how the one and only Francis Libiran will create the perfect wedding gown for me!” Kaye said on an Instagram post.
Perfect fit
Kaye, like every bride-to-be, seems to be on a diet too. Judging by the photos of delicious yet low-calorie meals she posts on Instagram with hashtags ‘skinnydown’ and ‘caloriecount’, it looks like Kaye is indeed working on her bride figure.
The Cake
Kaye and Paul Jake set the bar high in wedding preparation. While most couples simply choose from catalogs how their cakes would look like, Kaye and Paul Jake wanted to design it themselves!
It wasn’t easy, though, Kaye admits. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t have fun. Judging by their August 27 photo, Kaye and Paul Jake seemed to have enjoyed designing their own cake.
After two months, the couple’s cake was finally revealed!
For the Maid of Honours
Kaye knows how to take care of her girls too. Thanks to Kayd, she’s not the only one who will be radiant on her wedding day but the rest of her entourage too. They’ll literally shine with these pairs of stone earrings.
Bridal shower
Kaye’s bridal shower says a lot about her personality—a sweet-toothed young at heart. Sponsored by a catering services provider for the stars, Kaye’s bridal shower was filled with bright pastel colors and cupcakes in all shapes and sizes.
Kaye also treated her friends of a relaxing day at a salon during her bridal shower.

After her bridal shower, Kaye and Paul headed to their chosen event organizer to discuss how they want their wedding to happen.

In the latest of their wedding preparation, Kaye and Paul Jake headed to a five-star hotel for a food tasting. We’re left to wonder what foods they liked and what’s going to be served to their guests in December. If there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that the couple will definitely choose the best.
