After months of anticipation, Encantadia fans were finally given a preview of the grand re-telling of one of the Kapuso Network’s most iconic fantasy series, as its official trailer was launched last June 11.
The cast of the much-awaited requel of the Kapuso telefantasya was presented at the Toy Conference 2016 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Philippines. Three days after it was uploaded on YouTube, the official teaser trailer of Encantadia has already garnered more than 129,000 views and has elicited positive comments from netizens.
The audience praised the show’s special effects, with some even describing it as the Philippines’ own version of HBO’s Emmy award-winning series, Game of Thrones.

Joining the stellar cast are John Arcilla, Rocco Nacino, Ruru Madrid, Sunshine Dizon, Christian Bautista, Rochelle Pangilinan, Vaness del Moral, Pancho Magno, Buboy Villar, Carlo Gonzalez, Kate Valdez, Mikee Quintos, Starstruck finalist James Teng, introducing Starstruck winners Klea Pineda and Migo Adecer, and Solenn Heussaff.
Encantadia first aired on GMA Network in 2005 and remains one of the Network’s most successful and grandest TV offerings.
