MANILA – Although reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has repeatedly denied dating anyone as of the moment, Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, dubbed as the ‘sexiest doctor alive,’ revealed the contrary in an exclusive interview with entertainment news website Wonderwall.com.

“I am dating Pia. It’s a fairly new relationship but I’m really excited to see where it can go!,” the Russian-born medical resident said in the interview.

Adding more to the speculation of a budding romance, Varshavski and Wurtzbach’s photos and videos together surfaced on their social media accounts.

Just recently on Facebook Live, however, the Filipina beauty queen again reassured her supporters that her priority is the role and responsibility attached to her crown. She also showed her sash and referred to it as the ‘specific someone’ in her life right now.

“There’s no specific someone in my life. This is the specific someone. This is the priority,” she said during the session.

With the doctor’s revelation, Wurtzbach has yet to deny or confirm her dating status, saying she’ll reveal details ‘sa tamang panahon’ (in the right time).

In an interview with Matt Ortile of Buzzfeed Philippines, the 26-year-old beauty said that should she be asked to choose, she would choose career over love.

“If the guy really loves you, he will wait.”
