MANILA – Now a proud mother of a healthy baby girl, Kapuso actress Marian Rivera has a renewed outlook on life.

Actually, ngayon ko narerealize na ang pagiging isang ina pala ay, ayokong gamitin ‘yung term na sakrispisyo kasi parang masyadong mabigat ang salitang sakripisyoPero bilang isang nanay, lahat pala kaya mong gawin para sa anak mo,” she said in a Philippine Entertainment Portal report.

(Actually, it’s only now that I realize being a mother is, I don’t want to use the term sacrifice because the word sacrifice seems too much… But as a mother, you’ll do anything for your child.)

(They ask me, ‘Why are you breastfeeding?’ I have a choice. I can decide not to breastfeed. Because if you breastfeed, a lot will happen to your breasts, to your body.)

But this selfless mother is willing to give everything up.

(But I can give up everything for my child. I will do anything for my child… When it comes to health matters, I will do everything to ensure my child’s health.)

When asked if she plans to have another baby soon, Rivera yields to God’s plan for her family.

(I’m okay with whatever the Lord gives us, but I want proper age gap. Because if I’ll have my second child now, Zia will suffer.)

GMA’s Primetime Queen will soon be seen on television again as Ynang Reyna in the remake of Encantadia and as a talk show host in her upcoming morning show.
