The Price is Right’ host Bob Barker takes a fall near his LA home; treated for cut, scrape
LOS ANGELES – Bob Barker is resting at home after taking a fall on a Los Angeles street.
Barker’s longtime friend and publicist, Henri Bollinger, said the former “The Price is Right” host suffered a cut to his head that required stitches, and a scraped leg.
The 91-year-old Barker was out for his daily walk Tuesday morning near his house when he stumbled on uneven pavement, Bollinger said.
Two police officers who were nearby came to his aid, summoning an ambulance. Barker was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment and released.
He walked out of the hospital, said Bollinger, who drove him home.
Barker was the longtime host of “The Price is Right,” retiring from the game show in 2007 after 35 years.
