MANILA – Kapamilya host Vice Ganda dismissed bashers and their comments on his lips-to-lips act with co-host Karylle Yuzon in the anniversary kickoff of ABS-CBN’s daily noontime show “It’s Showtime” which was held over the weekend.

As part of their production number, Vice Ganda kissed Karylle twice on the lips while portraying his alter ego, “Viceral.” The two have earlier been paired on-screen as “ViceRylle.”

Not setting malice on their act, Vice Ganda clarified that he only did what he did to entertain their loveteam’s fans.

Ginawa namin ‘yun para matuwa ang mga fans naminAt masayang-masaya kami dahil natuwa talaga ‘yung mga fans namin,” he said in a Pep.ph report.

(We did it to make our fans happy… And we’re really happy because our fans were overjoyed.)

“We did not do it for the bashers, it’s not for them… Natuwa ako kasi good or bad, pinag-usapan kami. Wala akong pakialam sa kanila at nagpapasalamat ako na malaki ang pakialam nila sa akin,” he added.

(We did not do it for the bashers, it’s not for them… I’m happy because good or bad, they talked about us. I don’t care about them and I’m thankful that they care about me so much.)

Meanwhile, Karylle’s husband, Yael Yuzon, simply downplayed the kiss and asked bashers to stop reacting negatively about it.

“I didn’t allow anything. No one needs permission from me… There is really no need to bash anymore.
