MANILA –Senator Grace Poe is taking her time to make an ‘independent’ decision on whether or not she will run for the president in 2016.

Poe said her decision will have very “important implications” for the country in the coming years.

“Napakahalaga ng nakasalalay sa aking magiging disisyon. Bukod tangi dito ang nararapat na kahinatnan at marating ng ating bayang mahal sa susunod na anim na taon,” she said in a text message to the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

(My decision will have very important implications. The most important of which are our beloved country’s outlook and path in the next six years.

The senator added that the statement of several senators saying she will run for president next year is not what puts pressure on her.

“These perceptions do not really put added pressure on me.
